HVAC Solutions

HVAC controls are the systems and devices used to regulate and automate the operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. These controls help ensure occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency by maintaining optimal environmental conditions.
Temperature Control:
Thermostats and zone controllers maintain desired temperature settings by activating heating or cooling systems based on indoor and outdoor conditions.
Airflow & Ventilation Control:
Regulates supply and return air using dampers, variable air volume (VAV) boxes, and air handling units (AHUs) to maintain proper air exchange and pressure balance.
Humidity Control:
Sensors and humidistats control humidifiers and dehumidifiers to maintain comfortable and healthy indoor humidity levels, especially in climate-sensitive environments.
Fan & Blower Control:
Manages fan speeds with variable frequency drives (VFDs) for energy savings and precise airflow control.
Scheduling & Occupancy-Based Control:
Systems operate according to time schedules or occupancy sensors, ensuring energy is only used when and where it’s needed.
Demand-Controlled Ventilation (DCV): Adjusts ventilation rates based on real-time occupancy (e.g., using CO₂ sensors) to reduce energy use while maintaining indoor air quality. Equipment Staging & Load Management:
Optimizes energy use by staging multiple boilers, chillers, or rooftop units (RTUs) based on current demand and capacity.
Fault Detection & Alarming:
Built-in diagnostics identify system failures (e.g., sensor faults, fan failures, temperature deviations), with alerts via BAS, mobile app, or email.
Integration with Building Automation Systems (BAS):
HVAC controls can be networked into a centralized BAS or BMS for comprehensive control, monitoring, and analytics.
