A VFD is an electronic device that controls the speed and torque of an AC motor by varying the frequency and voltage of its power supply. VFDs are widely used in applications requiring adjustable motor speeds, energy savings, and soft starts/stops.
A Servo system includes a servo motor and a servo drive (amplifier). It offers precise control over position, speed, and torque, making it ideal for high-performance and dynamic applications that require accurate motion profiles. A Soft Starter is an electronic device used to control the acceleration and deceleration of electric motors during startup and shutdown. It gradually increases the motor voltage, allowing for a smooth and controlled start, reducing mechanical stress and electrical surges on the system.
